Melissa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC #3254).

Melissa has over 15 years experience working with youth, adults and families in a variety of mental health programs with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and in private practice. 

Melissa works with people of all ages and brings empathy, compassion and genuine respect to all those she meets. Her collaborative, warm style is connected with the belief that each individual and each family is unique and complex, requiring a tailored, personalized treatment approach. It brings Melissa pleasure to assist clients to connect with their inner strength, find joy where it was lost and over come challenges they are facing.

Melissa  brings a variety of life experiences to her work. She is a proud mom of 2 young children and a lifelong resident of North Vancouver, where she lives with her husband and children.
